Lesson 4 Action and maintenance aids

Episode 4 Action and maintenance aids. Here, I demonstrated the basic commands to get Capatoki doing what I ask with an action command and then maintain it with a softer maintenance command.

It is essential to make a clear difference, but in both action and maintenance aids, only just enough pressure to get the result is used. Too much pressure will only make your horse unresponsive.

In future I will gradually introduce the regulator aid that works in opposition to your action aid. Overuse of the regulator will cause confusion.
